Artists / PixlCrushr
PixlCrushr (real name Mike) is the project of a 17-year-old bit-pop fan from northern United States. He also makes music under the alias Teeks. PixlCrushr's obsession with video game music started at an early age with game consoles such as the Sega Genesis and Nintendo Game Boy. It was not until April 2007 that he discovered chiptune music (specifically Blasterhead) and decided to part ways with making trance music and join the genre. After quickly finding interest in the bit-pop scene, PixlCrushr gained much influence from Swedish artists such as 047, Ninjaspark, and Slagsmålsklubben. This influence can mostly be seen in his debut release "Lario and Muigi from the Kushroom Mingdom", a 9-song EP. PixlCrushr has since made several releases for Glitch City, and currently makes chiptune songs with various styles.
